The IMHH

The International Military Competition Shooting Hesborn Hochsauerland is one of the biggest military shooting competitions in Germany. In 2006 more than 250 teams have taken part at the competition and have celebrated together in the evening.
The RK Hesborn has organised every year a famous band, in the last years often a band of Bavaria, to create a great atmosphere. People were dancing on tables and on the whole festival there was no violence.
It is just a fair competition and all people are happy to celebrate with the winners in the evening.
The event has started at friday with a traditional evening, that is arranged by the "Musikzug Battenberg" which has a great repertoire of different sorts of music. The evening is as traditional as the laying of a wrench at the memorial in Hesborn before. On Saturday some competitiors have to stand up quite early, because the competition is taking place at the Shooting Range in Fritzlar. There, they have to proove their shooting abilities with the G36 and a pistol.
After the presentation ceremony in six different rating groups in the evening the bavarian band starts playing till late in the night.
